It Is Time To Outsource

By going outsourcing your Traffic Management and Road Space Booking needs to Construction Traffic Management, you'll be saving time, saving money, and most importantly - improving your service.

Why Use Our Services?

Programme Certainty

With Traffic Management there are a number of permits, bookings and orders, some with lead times of up to 12 weeks, that need to be submitted and approved . If these are not managed adequately there can be major Traffic Management approvals related delays to your project delivery. We understand the programme risks you face and can use our knowledge and experience to ensure that these are mitigated before they can manifest.

Cost Cutting

Local Authorities often have costs associated with their permit and road space booking forms. Where sufficient thought has not been given to planning a Traffic Management strategy ahead of time Contractors can often find themselves having to submit multiple applications as and when TM requirements arise.

We work to plan ahead for the duration of the project and amalgamate as many bookings into one as possible so as to limit the cost of your bookings. Often on a large project the cost of TM bookings can easily reach into the tens of thousands and this is all costs that were not considered at Bid Stage and therefore un-costed in your budget.

Increased Service Value

Many Clients will build in TM management into the contract. When liaising with their network teams they expect to deal with someone who understands the discipline. When taking on this responsibility in-house it will often become quickly apparent that your team does not possess the ability to manage TM requirements.

We, at Construction Traffic Management, can look after all of the bookings processes such that your Client is impressed by your seamless management of all the various requirements of your contract.

Improved Team Output

Traffic Management is a discipline that is often overlooked and as such can be considered a 'miscellaneous' responsibility which can be allocated to a project team member.

In our experience this is often ineffective, inefficient and lowers the morale of the person given the responsibility to look after Traffic Management. By outsourcing to a specialist you will allow your team to focus on their primary responsibilities and in turn can reasonably expect happier team achieving greater objectives.

How Construction Traffic Management Work?

At Construction Traffic Management we look after all your Traffic Management booking needs. We liaise with National Highways or the relevant Local Authority to get all your road space bookings, Permits, NOMS and/or TTROs application requirements submitted and approved in a timely manner. â€‹

Whilst our ethos is to be pro-active and flag to you where we observe that something Traffic Management related has been overlooked we will highlight it as soon as possible to minimise the likelihood of programme delays. This can include TM drawing requirements, TM resource bookings etc. Please note however, Construction Traffic Management does not offer TM management services. We do not provide physical Traffic Management or Traffic Management drawing services. Our service offer is primarily Traffic Management bookings oriented - a service that is oft overlooked but also often the cause for cost uncertainty and programme delays.
